I an' I - Roots Rock Reggae, Boston - August 2004
Left to right: Ky-mani, Damian, Ziggy, Julian and Stephen

Just after seeing Julian here in Ireland, I went back to Boston to the Roots, Rock, Reggae Festival, which was a tribute to Bob Marley by five of his sons, Ziggy, Julian, Damian, Stephen and Ky-mani.

They played about 2 hours; each playing 2 or 3 of their own songs and 4 or 5 of Bobs songs too. It was nice to see all 5 sons playing together on the same stage; the highlight for me was when Ziggy sang "Melancholy mood", which is one of my favorite songs.

It was definitely worth the trip to Boston to see them and I hope it's not the last.

Whilst in Boston I went to an amazing tatooist who did a lovely tatoo of Bob on my right arm, it has the phrase 'Time wil tell..' underneath it. Have to say that the tatooist really knew his stuff and did a really good job.

This man below stood proudly waving this huge flag and dancing for the entire set - what a job! Click on the pictures to view larger versions.
